Joining in 2008, I fell in love with DA instantly. I wanted to be big. I wanted to be something to be proud of.
I haven't really reached that point yet, but I have gained skill from this experience. I've made some good friends and bonded over art. I've grown to love my own art from the warm welcome of this site. I started awful, and I may not be great now, but I've improved. It's now 2014 and I have the same goal: To be big. It may take some time, but I don't mind.
The daily grind to improve has been developed from seeing such amazing work made by others on this site. It really is a blessing. Life has had its ups and downs, but this site, over the past 6 or so years, has really helped make things easier to work with.
My features include:
1. A piece by 8liana8Â. She was one of the first people I watched when I first joined, and I've always admired her work. I've been around for a really long time and she is really amazing at what she does. Definitely one of my main inspirations.
2. By the bae, wallaberry . She's amazing at what she does, and I'm in love with her art. I think art is one of the reasons we're such good friends, and we've grown a lot together over the past 3-4 years.
3. This, yo. It really has helped me colour better, and I have used it while practicing many times!
4. I've also used this a lot to learn how not to make my women look fake! ^^
5. One of the first things I've ever uploaded to dA. It's amazing how far I've come.
Hell, this has been a ride. It's amazing to see how I've transformed.
